From a young age, beliefs, opinions, religions, and traumas are imposed upon us, often before we have a chance to understand the world for ourselves. This can lead to division, misunderstanding, and manipulation. We’re often forced to choose sides, to label ourselves, and to defend our beliefs, sometimes at the expense of understanding and loving others.
